Walk Scilly is back! Between 10th and 19th April join our event entirely dedicated to the discovery of the immense natural beauty and heritage on Scilly by foot (and by sea!).  Get exploring the 5 inhabited islands and some uninhabited ones too! This rare and unique opportunity comes once a year when you can experience the 'waking-up' of the islands and when spring is in all its glory and when the flora is looking its best! Low tide events on the Isles of Scilly

Low Tide Experience

April 17

On a Spring Tide, for just an hour, the channel between Tresco and Bryher is shallow enough to cross on foot, providing a unique setting for a mini pop-up party. The team set up benches, a bar and firepits, and once the tide is low enough, visitors can walk across from either island to meet in the middle and enjoy the foodie delights and maybe some live music - a rare Scillonian experience. Activities are weather dependent.

World Pilot Gig Championships

The most spectacular event on Scilly, the annual World Pilot Gig Championships sees over 400 crews from across the world competing for the most coveted prizes in pilot gig racing.  There will be serious racing and serious fun to be had by all.

Creative Scilly is an Arts and Cultural festival, celebrating artists, makers, literature, poetry, music, theatre, performance and spoken word. Scilly60 Festival

June 12 - June 16

Scilly60 is a flagship 60 km multi-island trail challenge taking runners across all five inhabited Isles of Scilly. Competitors complete every metre of coastal path on St Mary’s, St Martin’s, Tresco, Bryher, and St Agnes, before a final 5 km return to St Mary’s. Featuring technical terrain, constant undulation, tidal crossings, and strict cut-offs, it offers raw scenery, true adventure, and an unforgettable, limited-entry racing experience.

Scilly Swimrun

July 11 - July 12

Scilly Swimrun hosts the UK’s only true inter-island swimrun events in the Isles of Scilly, described by the sport’s founders as a "swimrun paradise". The series includes St Agnes 7km/14km, Northern Traverse 15km and the flagship Archipelago 31km. Expect technical running, stunning island swims, spectator-friendly locations, boat logistics and unforgettable adventure for beginners through elite athletes across multiple islands.

Ocean Scilly

Ocean Scilly will be a broad, fun-filled celebration of the seas that surround the isles; championing all waterborne activities, sealife, our maritime heritage and everything on, in and above the water! A family-friendly mix of aquatic adventures such as paddleboarding and kayaking, sailing sessions, wind-surfing, kite-surfing, coasteering, snorkelling with seals and of course boating of every kind.

Scilly 555!

October 4 - October 8

The 555! is a flexible, inclusive multi-day running and walking event in the stunning Isles of Scilly. Whether you’re tackling your first 10k, a half marathon, a full marathon each day, or a relaxed island walk, there’s an option for everyone. Join for the full week or choose a single day and distance. Options include five marathons, five half marathons, or five island loops, all on clearly marked routes with daily time limits.

Autumn Tide Festival

October 10 - October 17

Celebrate the Isles this October at the Autumn Tide Festival on Tresco, a week-long celebration of food, art, and culture inspired by the changing season. Enjoy harvest flavours, shorter days, and the pleasure of coming together through garden walks, shoreline adventures, and hands-on experiences led by islanders.
